Viability: I found the game to be playable from start to end, with mechanics that go well beyond what we covered in tutorials.  I appreciate the subtleties of the character design, with divergent paths and clear rewards for exploration. All this needs is more: more levels, more tangible rewards for collecting enemies, more music and enemy variety, etc. But do not be discouraged: It is a good problem to have when your players want more of what’s there :)

Presentation: The art is charming and clear. The combination of large “pixels” and small ones is very interesting! It makes it look like the graphics are a combination of different retro eras. The one thing I would suggest is to create a visual feedback when the players gets hit (other than the UI), either by instantiating a particle effect or even bumping the player back a bit. the first solution can easily be done with a Condition area hit/Create object and adding a simple particle effect. The second requires a bit of programming, but is not very hard to do.

Theme: While the game is mostly a traditional action platformer, where a complex story is not expected, the themes of exploration and adventure come through. It is funny how the fire is the main character here, rather than the creatures running from it. In a further iteration it would be good to think about how role-playing a little fire could be explore mechanically: perhaps your character size grows the more you advance through the level, or you can leave little torches on from which respawn after losing. There lots of opportunities here!

Engagement: The difficulty was just right that I kept playing again and again until reaching the end. Moving with physics is hard but rewarding, and I am glad you fine-tuned jumping enough to make it fun to do. Overall, this is a fun one!

ahh I thought the mushroom was a friend and then my health went down :(. Really well made game!!

This is adorable and the art and music go so well together! I love that everything is self-explanatory - and what isn't explained is learned through trial and error. I really liked figuring out each level piece by piece, and I like that the levels feel distinct from each other but still match.

I love the game art, I suggest making a checkpoint and more enemies to make it more interesting . Also to have an end goal.

This is so cute, your art and concept are both super strong and the fact that you had things like a shooting mechanic and a push mechanic made it feel super polished! I hope you take this to final so I can rescue more little friends!

The fireball character is super cute! At first I thought it was strange that he can roll around upside down, but now I find it kind of funny and charming? The idea of the push mechanic is interesting, and I like the interaction with the water drops on the platform. Maybe you could take the interactions with fire further, such as the character burning the wooden box we have to push unless the box is pushed in water first (since we are made of fire). Either way, super cute so far! I look forward to see if you take this further.

The fireball is so adorable! I love the animated emoji on the fireball face. Also, the bouncy material of the floor tiles works well and it is fun to jump around. The music and background are very nice. I think you can add components to trigger something from the “push” box. Overall, I really like the game and it is very cute!

The little fireball is so cute and I love how you used water in place of the spikes! I'm curious as to what a little ball of fire is doing in a forest. The controls were a bit wonky at times- I think there was too much momentum in the movements that sent the ball flying but other than that it's super cute and clever

i love the little fire ball!! the game is very fun, and the visuals were very clever!

Great animations in your character! I really like the 'push' mechanic. I had trouble getting to some of the platforms, it was pretty difficult, but really fun! Some of the bouncy platforms made it hard to get around but added a fun challenge.

This is lovely! The music, the little fireball and his animation, and the background, are all so simple and sweet. I love the "push" box as well - such a nice little mechanic that could return for future puzzles!
