I love the idea of having a set list of items then going to look for said items, with the added layer of spook, very fun!! I would love to hear some audio for the  shampoo bottle falling or for the intruder, i feel the addition of audio would ramp up that feeling of anxiety and add just a little flair to an already tense scene.

Really fun idea. I really like the option to go to different rooms. When I picked up the knife and then clicked "have everything", it said that I hadn't found everything so it brought me back to the kitchen and asked if I wanted the knife again. So I had two knives in my inventory. Just gotta add a macro in there so that the player can't get a second knife. I like the character stats at the bottom and I really like how the objective is straightforward but dangerous. I was nervous to go anywhere. Very well done.

The game is very well-made and fun to play. I like the time variables you include in the game and the shaky fonts really effective. The theme is spooky and interesting. It is nice to replay the game and explore different results.

The game was very fun, I would love to see more images and visual elements, and at the end when I had the option to attack with the knife or stay quiet, I wish the link was on the option and not on the knife because I didn't see it and thought the link was broken. Otherwise a very fun game.

This is interesting! One passage seemed to dead-end in no text, but most of it runs very smoothly. My one issue was at the end, with "stay quiet" or "use the things you brought", I didn't realize that I was meant to click the items in the inventory at the bottom. Maybe you could add a (click items to use them) or something to help make that a little more clear? Other than that, I love the timed elements and I'm interested in replaying to find all the endings!

On the "Bam!" Line when opening the shower curtain, I’d like to see the text move! It would be a nice way to indicate the movement of the bottle of shampoo. One small issue I ran into was the duplication of objects; I was able to go into the kitchen and grab an infinite number of knives and candles as I traveled between the two rooms. One other small issue; on the screen with, “You are not sure what to do next. But at least you have something to protect yourself,” If you have the knife and kill the man, you still have the option to stay quiet, that will be your only option to take and then he will kill you. Aside from those issues, great work! The exploration of the environment was done very well, and I appreciated that you did have to go to the basement early on in the game, which is something I avoided doing the first time I played through it. Having a courage meter was what ultimately encouraged me to go down there.

the time variables are super effective, especially with such a spooky game!! I played through it twice (and finally won). The first time, I ended up with a whole bunch of candles, and I stabbed the guy in the bedroom, but there was no game over/win/lose screen so I restarted. I also noticed a loose "]" at the end of once of the win screens, but other than that, it was super well made and fun to play!!

Viability: Very good start for an exploration game. The replayability potential is there for sure, with tons of different routes the player could take by going to rooms in different orders.
Presentation: I am not sure if it was intended or not, but there are a few passages that simply end with no text in them. There is also a "bug" where you can continue going back and picking up the knife from the kitchen until your inventory has tons of knives. But the interaction and use of the inventory system was great as a whole, adds well to the exploration!
Theme: I love the imagery of the room only being lit up by your laptop screen, or wandering in the dark with your phone flashlight. I love the "exploring a spooky house theme", very well done! Would love to see this filled out with more options and details if you decide to use this for your final. This format has potential for so many options.
Engagement: Such a relatable situation, being some when the power is out. Very engaging, and easy to imaging myself actually being there!

Super spooky and suspenseful! Your use of different fonts/text effects was really cool as well. I love that you can't tell if the intruder is human or not, it lets the player decide what is more scary to them. I would love to see some art/sound design if you take this to final!

I love the suspense in your game Yuting! I really enjoyed the path going down to the basement, I wish there was a little illustration that showed what we could see peeking from behind the cabinet doors. I didn't sound human from the way you described the broken legs, maybe it's a monster that shapeshifts? It was pretty smooth playing the game, however, I did get stuck in a little loop when I went to the bathroom to look for candles. I had a hard time going back to the kitchen and I ended up getting more than one knife from the drawer and I wasn't able to return back to the beginning. But other than that, I really liked the thrill!
